Octava entrega de alimentos y pavos por la Fundación Diplomacy for World Peace beneficia a miles en Nueva York

Diplomacy for World Peace Foundation’s Eighth Annual Food and Turkey Giveaway Benefits Thousands in New York

Con un espíritu de solidaridad y gratitud, la Fundación Diplomacy for World Peace, liderada por el empresario dominicano y exdiputado Rubén Luna, junto al Sr. Abul Hossain, vicepresidente de la fundación, llevó a cabo la octava edición de su tradicional entrega de alimentos y pavos. El evento, realizado en la Iglesia de la Encarnación, benefició a más de 7,000 familias necesitadas en Nueva York.

Desde la madrugada, largas filas de personas rodearon dos manzanas completas en los alrededores de la iglesia ubicada en 1290 St. Nicholas Ave, mostrando la importancia y acogida de esta iniciativa. Cada ración entregada incluía alimentos esenciales y un pavo para la cena de Acción de Gracias.

Un evento de esperanza y organización ejemplar

La jornada comenzó con una misa especial de Acción de Gracias, seguida de la distribución organizada de los alimentos, realizada gracias a los más de 100 voluntarios, el apoyo de 50 empresas colaboradoras y la coordinación con autoridades locales y la Policía de Nueva York.

Rubén Luna, presidente de la fundación, expresó:"Llevar alivio y ayuda a quienes más lo necesitan es un privilegio. Estoy comprometido a seguir compartiendo las bendiciones que Dios me da, con la esperanza de que este evento sea un ejemplo de unión y amor por los demás."

Por su parte, el Sr. Abul Hossain, vicepresidente de la fundación, destacó:"Este evento simboliza el verdadero espíritu de Acción de Gracias: compartir, unir y apoyar a quienes más lo necesitan. Estoy profundamente agradecido de ser parte de una iniciativa que transforma vidas y fortalece nuestra comunidad. Seguiremos trabajando con dedicación para llegar a más familias cada año."

Un encuentro de solidaridad y unidad comunitaria

Entre los asistentes destacados se encontraban Ydanis Rodríguez, comisionado del Departamento de Transporte de Nueva York; el empresario y líder comunitario Cirilo Moronta; además de líderes comunitarios, empresarios y otras personalidades influyentes.

Este evento anual no solo logró apoyar a miles de familias, sino que también reforzó los lazos comunitarios, promoviendo un mensaje de esperanza y fraternidad en una época especial.

With a spirit of solidarity and gratitude, the Diplomacy for World Peace Foundation, led by Dominican businessman and former congressman Rubén Luna, alongside Mr. Abul Hossain, the foundation’s vice president, carried out the eighth edition of its traditional food and turkey giveaway. The event, held at the Church of the Incarnation, benefited more than 7,000 families in need across New York City.

From the early hours, long lines of people wrapped around two city blocks near the church, located at 1290 St. Nicholas Ave, highlighting the importance and reception of this initiative. Each distributed package included essential food items and a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.

An Event of Hope and Exemplary Organization

The day began with a special Thanksgiving Mass, followed by the well-organized distribution of food packages, which was made possible thanks to the efforts of over 100 volunteers, the support of 50 partner companies, and coordination with local authorities and the New York Police Department.

Rubén Luna, president of the foundation, stated:"Bringing relief and help to those in need is a privilege. I am committed to continuing to share the blessings God has given me, with the hope that this event serves as an example of unity and love for one another."

For his part, Mr. Abul Hossain, the foundation’s vice president, emphasized:"This event embodies the true spirit of Thanksgiving: sharing, uniting, and supporting those in need.
